The Grade 5 cohort at St Leonard has been working very hard all year on the Student Entrepreneurship Project, to build a business in support of a United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (Zero Hunger) as well as a charity of our choice (The Ottawa Food Bank).
As Grade 5 students, we have a unique perspective on the Ottawa Food Bank’s mission. We are still growing, so we know how essential proper nutrition is for a healthy childhood. Money made from our Market Sale will be turned into a big donation for the Ottawa Food Bank. We aren't just kids with an idea, we are a team dedicated to making sure every child in our city has the chance for a good childhood. Our business is called Nutrition Mission and we will be having a Market style sale at school on June 4th, 2026.
Certain products, such as cookbooks and tshirts, will be available for pre-order through our website.
